Birthday: January 15
Location Spain (Pamplona) but back when possible
Interests Reading fan from the later 70s - Robin Friday time, born in Spencer's Wood and living the school years in Tilehurst. Season ticket holder for many seasons. A later move to live in Spain has not blunted optimism in following Reading, even though visits to the town are unfortunately few and far between. Generally known as a big 'optimist'!

Other personal + interests: current affairs, history and geography, animal rights and animal protection (member League Against Cruel Sports, Animal Cruelty Investigation Group and OneKind). Virtually all types of music from earliest Baroque/classical to latest techno stuff ...

He works as a musician - cellist and composer - having had the luck to do a fair bit of TV stuff during the years, mainly classical but always looking to cross over into lighter fields when he can. He had the good fortune to have played a number of times for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (London) and is the current principal cello of the Navarre Symphony Orchestra.

He speaks fluent Spanish as 2nd language with Spanish wife + 2 'Spanglish' boys Kevin and Jon-Erik! He more-or-less understands Catalan, and even ... has a few words in Basque!! That's 'cos he lives in Pamplona at the foot of the Pyrenees (Atlantic side), in Navarre but bordering on The Basque Country. In Pamplona we've got the 'la liga' team Osasuna, do occasionally go with my boys but it's just not the same as being where the Royals are ... just that it would be nice to have the dough to fly over ever other week ...
