Málaga 3 Reading 0. How times have changed! On this day in 1987 this game was played during a club-organised week's holiday to Torremolinos (Costa del Sol) for players, officials and supporters. Reading took only eight first-team players on the trip and two of those were injured - so the squad for this game included three of the coaching staff and five Reading Sunday league players ! |
